Is 58 Too Old to Get a Nose Piercing?
At age 54, I have both sides of my nose pierced.
No, 58 is Not Too Old to Get a Nose Piercing!
Consider this: people of all ages can choose to express themselves through body modifications like piercings. It’s important to think about personal comfort, health, and any potential risks, but age alone should not be a barrier. If you’re curious or interested, just ensure you go to a reputable piercer and follow proper aftercare instructions.
Age 55? I love mine! Post by a user
No! Age 61, an old punk, I have 4 gold rings in one nostril. I earned those piercings, got them in the early 80s when it wasn’t popular. Both my ears are pierced up to the top, completely covered in ink. I have long hair, 30 years of punk rock hair, and lived through the underground punk scene. It was challenging, but I survived. Life is short! Nose piercings are beautiful. Go to a pro. Don't do it yourself. I may get another in the opposite nostril. Why not? Enjoy your life, do what you want! Cheers. Post by a user
Are you alive? Are you breathing? Can you afford the cost of getting pierced and buying quality jewelry? If you answered “yes” to these questions, then no, you are not too old to get a piercing!
My motto about piercings and tattoos is: you're never too old to get them done, unless you're dead, in which case it's too late.
Not at all! Do it if you want it; it's about what makes YOU happy. Post by a user
Real-Life Story: My Navel Piercing at Age 58
At 50 next February, I have more piercings than I care to mention. Most I've had for many years, but I also got several after turning 40. I wouldn’t bet against removing them because I love them. Body modifications are about making YOU happy; there are no other rules.
Funny side story: when I got my navel pierced in 1998, there was a senior citizen in the studio. She was in her 70s. She left with her nipples pierced! She said she was SO excited because it was something she’d wanted to do for so many years! If she can do it, we can do whatever we want.
Body modifications are not just about age. They are about personal expression, health, and self-care. At any age, it's crucial to choose a reputable piercer and follow proper aftercare protocols to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
Remember, the age limit for body modifications is not etched in stone. It's about the individual's readiness and willingness to take care of their body in a safe and healthy manner.
